CortexPM can be introduced gradually on live projects, without forcing a system-wide switch or retraining your entire team.
“We can’t disrupt live jobs.”
“Training the whole team will be a nightmare.”
“We’ll end up running two systems.”
“We should wait until EOF / next project / next year.”
“If it fails, we wear the cost.”
“Getting our data in there will be painful.”
These aren’t excuses, they’re rational concerns. And most software ignores them.
Most construction software assumes a clean break: new system, new workflows, all-in from day one. That's not how real building companies operate.
A low-risk way to introduce CortexPM into a live business - without disruption, lock-in, or forced change.
No big-bang rollout
Parallel operation supported
Reversible at every stage
Start small, expand when ready
Start with one project, role, or function. No company-wide rollout. No forced usage.
CortexPM runs alongside your existing tools. Nothing gets switched off prematurely.
We configure workflows, structure data, and align CortexPM to how you already work.
You pick a measurable goal - like cutting claim turnaround from 14 days to 5, or catching variation leakage before it hits margin - and we help you hit it.
Scale usage at your speed, or walk away cleanly.
You control the pace at every stage.
No forced continuation
Your existing systems remain intact
Your data remains accessible
No sunk operational cost
If CortexPM doesn’t earn its place, it doesn’t stay.
During Staged Onboarding, implementation is hands-on by design. This isn’t about tutorials - it’s about ensuring CortexPM fits into a live operating business without friction.
Real project data
Real workflows
Real assistance
No one-size-fits-all playbooks
Most failures happen during rollout. We don’t outsource that part.
Are running live projects
Can’t afford disruption
Want control over change
Care about margins and process
We understand your concerns, we have lived them too.
No. The Staged Onboarding model is designed specifically to protect live jobs. You keep running current sites on your old system (or spreadsheets) and only switch new starts or specific pilot projects.
Yes. In fact, we recommend it. You can start with just Estimating to win work, then Contracts to manage it, then Job Costing to track it. You unlock modules as your team gets comfortable.
Not all at once. Because you roll out by function or project, you only train the relevant staff (e.g., estimators first, then site managers). This prevents "training fatigue" and downtime.
Since you haven't ripped out your old systems, "rolling back" just means continuing as you were. There is zero operational risk if you decide CortexPM isn't the right fit during the pilot phase.
Absolutely. Many builders start with our Estimating module to get accurate costs, then move to Contracts for safety. You don't need to use the full suite on Day 1.
You get Australian-based support from people who know construction. During onboarding, we help structure your cost codes, templates, and workflows so you're not starting from a blank page.
We didn't build CortexPM from a software company brainstorm session. We built it from site offices, after watching failed software rollouts derail good businesses. Staged Onboarding exists because we've been in your position for years.
We've used this approach with businesses ranging from residential builders running 10+ live sites and commercial contractors managing $50M+ portfolios.
No obligation. No pressure. Just a practical conversation.
